Aldar The Cedars

Developer Aldar Properties has launched The Cedars at Yas Acres Golf and Waterfront in Abu Dhabi. According to the company, the project puts nature at the center and is part of its strategy to create unique communities within the Yas Acres master plan.

When completed, there will be 1,315 townhouses and villas on the north shore of Yas Island. Construction is reportedly already underway, with the first 652 homes scheduled for delivery in 2019.According to Aldar, residents will enjoy landscaped parks, jogging and biking paths, shady alleys, indoor and outdoor gyms and community pools, as well as playgrounds, pools, sports facilities and barbecue areas in each cluster of villas.

The complex will also include a golf and country club and, according to the developer, a waterfront residential area with stores and restaurants is planned for the future. The complex will also include two school sites, both of which have reportedly already been purchased by a local investment company.

The settlement is close to two international schools, which is ideal for growing families. In addition, there will be bike and jogging paths, beautifully landscaped parks ideal for picnics, barbecues and outdoor yoga, as well as shopping and community centers with cafes, restaurants and stores. Mosques, an integral part of any community, are conveniently located along the alleys.
