1. Collection of personal data.
A. Information you directly and voluntarily provide to us
Sending requests.
If you submit an inquiry about a property or event or create an account on any website operated by AEMETRIA, you will be required to provide certain information as part of the registration. This information may include your first and last name, email address, telephone number and address (yours or your company's).
Membership information is used to communicate with you, develop content and activities that we believe may be of interest to you, and to ensure that AEMETRIA will not violate any applicable sanctions in providing you with access to AEMETRIA products and services. If you would like to opt out of receiving such communications from us, please follow the instructions contained in the applicable communication you receive from us.
Activity.
AEMETRIA may host events to share product information. If you register to attend an AEMETRIA event, we will use your account information to provide you with information and services related to that event. If you register for one of our events without having an account on the AEMETRIA website, we will use your data (first and last name, email address, work or home address, type of company you work for or with which you will be associated ) to provide information and services related to this event.
Communications
c AEMETRIA. If you communicate or correspond with us by email, postal mail, telephone or other forms of communication, including through our customer service center, we will collect the information you provide as part of those communications. For example, if you correspond with us by email, we will store the email address you use to send related correspondence and will use it to respond to your inquiries, notify you about AEMETRIA events or other services, or track your complaints, requests for placement, as well as for other similar purposes. By agreeing to correspondence by email, you consent to receive newsletters from AEMETRIA. We will use the email address you provide to send you relevant news, promotions and other marketing materials. You can opt out of email correspondence at any time by following the “Unsubscribe” link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
b. Information We Collect Automatically
We may automatically collect information about you when you use our sites or services. For example, if you visit the Sites from a computer, we automatically collect information such as browser type and version, computer and connection information, IP address, pages you visit and standard web log information. We may use remarketing tools that will show you ads based on location and the content you viewed on our site, even after you leave our site. If you are browsing on a mobile device, we may also determine the location of that device. 3. Use, sending and storage of personal data.
a. Use of information about you
We generally use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, protect and improve existing products and develop new ones. This allows us to:
- facilitate the creation and security of a user's account on our network;
- identify you as a user of our services;
- optimize our services, website and business management;
- understand and improve user interactions with our website, our products and related services;
- respond to user comments or questions (our support team also needs this to provide services);
- send the user relevant information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages and administrative notices;
- inform the user about promotions, upcoming events and news regarding products and services offered by AEMETRIA;

b. Information for persons located in the European Union
Legal basis for processing personal data of EEA residents
If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), our processing of your personal data is subject to the following provisions:
- Whenever we require your consent to process your personal information, such processing will be justified in accordance with Article 6(1) lit. a General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This GDPR article describes when your personal data may be processed in accordance with the law.
- If the processing of your personal data is necessary within the framework of a contract between you and AEMETRIA or to carry out any action at your request before entering into a contract, the processing of information about you will be carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. b General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If this data is not processed, AEMETRIA will not be able to fulfill the contract with you.
- When processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, we will process your information in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. c GDPR, for example in the area of labor law compliance.
- If the processing of information about you is necessary to pursue the legitimate interests of AEMETRIA, it will be carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, for example for fraud detection.
- You may also receive personalized advertising in which you indicate which specific AEMETRIA products or services you are interested in by requesting product or service information or by indicating your marketing preferences in the Preference Center (accessed at the bottom of this page). You may also receive general communications about new product or service launches, promotions or programs.
Transfer of personal data from the EU to the UAE
AEMETRIA's head office is located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The information we collect about you will be processed within the UAE. The security of your personal information and the data you provide to us is very important to us. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to AEMETRIA, nor that your information on the AEMETRIA website will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed as a result of a breach of any of our generally accepted physical, technical or managerial protective measures. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials) on our order form or chat, we encrypt that information using SSL technology. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the complete security of data transmitted over the Internet. Therefore, AEMETRIA cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to or through the Sites, and you do so at your own risk.
AEMETRIA is a party to the EU Framework Agreement on the Protection of Confidential Information. AEMETRIA undertakes to adapt all personal information received from users from EU Member States to the applicable principles of the framework agreement (the “Principles”).
Data subject rights in the European Union
The European Union's General Data Protection Regulations and the privacy laws of other countries provide certain rights to data subjects (identifiable individuals).
In this Privacy Notice we describe what personal information AEMETRIA collects about you and how it is used.

You may withdraw your consent to processing or prohibit further processing of personal data by AEMETRIA at any time. In many countries (including EEA countries), you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if you have concerns about how AEMETRIA processes your personal data. If technically possible, upon your request, AEMETRIA will provide you with your personal data or transfer it directly to another controller. In addition to the information contained in this Privacy Notice, you may submit a request to receive additional contextual information about specific services or the collection and processing of your personal data.
c. Data storage
AEMETRIA stores your personal data on its own servers, as well as on the servers of database management services with which AEMETRIA cooperates, which are located in the United Arab Emirates. AEMETRIA stores the data for the duration of the client's business relationship with AEMETRIA and in other cases if required in accordance with current legislation. Personal data will be stored for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which your personal data is processed. We store your personal data for as long as you remain a client of AEMETRIA or as long as you require our services.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, at the time you end your business relationship with AEMETRIA or withdraw your consent to the processing of personal information, all your personal data received and stored will be deleted unless we no longer need it, unless we are not required to retain this personal data to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. In this case, we will store personal data for as long as necessary. 5. Changes to this Privacy Notice
From time to time, AEMETRIA may need to update or change this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our business practices or data collection practices or arrangements. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Notice at any time, for any reason and without prior notice, except by posting the revised Privacy Notice on the Sites or, if you have provided us with your email address, by sending you an email notification about changes to the Privacy Notice. It is strongly recommended that you check the site frequently and check the date of last modification indicated at the top. We will not limit your rights under this Privacy Notice in any way without your express and informed consent. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Sites and providing personal information to us until the modified Privacy Notice takes effect.
